GXS Named a Leader in B2B Service Provider Report by Independent Research Firm

Providers . According to the just released Forrester Research, Inc.
evaluation by Ken Vollmer, “The Forrester Wave(TM): B2B Service Providers,
Q4 2009(1),” GXS is positioned as a leading provider for B2B services based
on 85-criteria. In the evaluation, GXS received top scores in several
categories including global reach, community management, customer support,
disaster recovery, managed services and

The report also references how B2B service providers are an alternative for

The Forrester Wave(TM) methodology was used to evaluate the offerings of 12

services. As companies’ electronic trading networks grow and proliferate
globally, it becomes impractical for them to manage their trading
communities and the thousands of associated B2B e-commerce transactions
themselves and the “benefits of a hosted document exchange or managed B2B
services environment becomes clear.”
The GXS Managed Services model includes that capability as well as multiple
complementary services such as mapping and translation, trading partner
onboarding, ongoing community management, systems administration, supply
chain visibility and supplier performance reporting. According to
Forrester, B2B managed services or outsourced EDI support “is the second
traditional VAN-based approach and by all accounts is gaining in overall
popularity.”
